Jay-Tec Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Jay Tec Electronics. If you're not happy with an item, we’ll do our best to make things right.
1. Eligibility for Returns You may request to return an item within 14 days of receiving your order, provided:

The item is in its original condition and packaging

It has not been used, installed, or altered

It includes all original accessories, cables, manuals, and documentation
Some items are non-returnable, including:

Software, digital goods, or activation codes once opened or used

Hygiene-sensitive items (e.g. headphones, earbuds) if unsealed

Custom-built or special-order items
2. Faulty or Damaged Items If your item arrives faulty or damaged:

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

Include a photo of the item and packaging, if possible

We will offer a replacement, repair, or full refund
All items are covered under a minimum 12-month warranty, unless stated otherwise.
3. How to Start a Return To request a return, contact us at jay@jay-tec.co.uk with the following:

Your order number

The item(s) you wish to return

Reason for return
We’ll reply with instructions, including the return address and any steps needed. Do not send items back without approval, as this may delay your refund.
4. Return Shipping

If the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover the return shipping cost

For all other returns (e.g. change of mind), you will be responsible for return shipping

We recommend using a tracked or insured service, as we are not responsible for items lost in return transit
5. Refunds

Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days of receiving and inspecting the returned item

You will receive your refund via the original payment method

We do not refund original delivery charges (unless the return is due to an error on our part)
6. Exchanges

We are happy to arrange an exchange for a different item of equal or greater value (you pay the difference)
